We are based within walking distance of the centre of Otley, we offer OFSTED Rated 'Good' Childcare for ALL children aged 9 months - school age. We provide quality childcare to the local community, we provide 15 hours government funding for all working and non-working families of 2, 3 & 4 year olds and the extended 30 hour entitlement for working parents.

With our progressive and holistic early childhood education philosophy, we understand that each child has unique needs and interests. We provide the environment and tools your child needs to thrive to the best of their abilities.

When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave Bright Ideas Otley, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.

Our Mission

At Bright Ideas Otley, our mission consists of providing a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe. Our unique early years practitioners offer various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. Through cooperative play and creative activities, kids reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease.

Sessions

We are open from 8.00am-5.00pm daily. We offer extended hours 3pm-5pm, these sessions must be booked in advance. We are a term time only setting, we follow Leeds Local Authority school holidays.
We offer funded places of both 15 and 30 hours per week for 3 and 4 year olds (additional service charge may apply).
A healthy packed lunch needs to be provided to ALL children that are staying for lunch.

School Morning - 9.00 -12.00
Extended Morning - 8.00 - 1.00
School Afternoon - 12.00 - 3.00
Full Day School Hours - 9.00 - 3.00
Long Day 8.00 - 5.00
A non-refundable registration fee is taken to secure a preschool place. For a full fees list, please contact the manager.
